The hotel features a fantastic location, just a short stroll to the beach, but luxury seems to have taken a back seat when it comes to practical comforts. The kitchen facilities left much to be desired, lacking basic items to whip up a quick meal. While the room had a decent sitting area and an electric kettle, the overall ambiance wasn’t as inviting with the lack of thoughtful decor. Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, which is a real drawback if you have plans to work remotely or stay connected. The pool area was inviting enough, but it didn't really scream luxury. With some adjustments and proper management, Cotillo Ocean Sunset could position itself as a more attractive value option, but for now, tread carefully if you're aiming for luxury in El Cotillo.
